Our party of 6 persons, in 3 rooms were very pleased with a our 2 night stay at the Pineta Palace. We especially liked the free daily shuttle to central Rome; and we found that a taxi ride back to the hotel cost under 15 Euros. The bathrooms have all been remodeled with floor to ceiling while tile. The buffet breakfast(which is usually included in the price) was excellent with a variety of hot and cold items; the gourmet coffee machine brews your monring coffee while you wait, including the ever popular cappuchino. The bar is small but friendly and initimate, and encourages conversation with the multi -lingual guests that stayed at this hotel while we were there. While we were in Rome, some friends stayed at a Sharaton in Rome, had no breakfast included, and paid $ 260 per night and did not like the hotel. The multi-lingual staff at the reception desk were friendly and helpful-they even confirmed our flights out of Rome. Let me make a constructive criticism if I may: Provide larger soaps and shampoos in the bathrooms: also, naturally, the management would like it if guests used the hotel's excellent dining facilities, but travelers always like it if they can find a nice, cozy restaurant within walking distance of the hotel, so I believe it would be helpful if the hotel provided a small list of such restaurants if they are available within wealking distance of the hotel.
